It fosters collaboration, transparency, and industry growth by positioning members at the forefront of financial disruption in Mexico and Latin America.
Mission and Objectives
The association's core goal is to empower FinTechs to challenge the status quo through innovative solutions, strategic partnerships with investors and regulators, and access to cutting-edge trends like Open Finance and digital wallets. It strengthens the sector's voice in policy-making via committees on regulation, international relations, and best practices, aiming for dignified finances via technology for underserved populations.

FinTech México organizes firms into categories including Pagos Digitales, Gestión de Finanzas Personales, Insurtech, Entidades Financieras Disruptivas, Activos Financieros y Mercado de Capitales, Finanzas Empresariales, Activos Virtuales, Préstamos y Financiamiento Colectivo, and FinTech as a Service. Activities encompass the annual Reporte FinTech 2025, FinTech Academy workshops, events, studies on SME financing and global trends (e.g., 3.4B digital wallet accounts), and networking for synergies.
Leadership and Impact
Led by a council including President Felipe Vallejo (Bitso), it promotes inclusion via collective knowledge, regulatory evolution with CNBV, and connections to global players, revolutionizing investment, payments, and beyond. With 2-10 staff in Mexico City, it accelerates growth, transparency, and robust solutions, serving as the epicenter for FinTech evolution.
